Has anyone seen this nano?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtzN7vLNfGQ
The Nano Sky 7 Gallon. PS: How do I embed video • High Clarity Glass Aquarium • 91% light-through rate vs. 84% regular glass • Polished Edges • Includes 3D-HOB for superior filtration • Zero Bypass System • Energy Efficient Lighting • Easy to Install and Set-Up • 17.7in (45cm) x 6.7in (17cm) x 13.7 (35) about 6.8 gallons. Is there space in the lid cut outs to install a heater or airstone? How does that filter look. This is their pdf Manual http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/yhst-...oSkyManual.pdf I have no idea if the dimensions are internal or external. This could be a big issue. May night desks are 18" wide. If those dimensions are internal, the tank would not it. ![]() |

I'm not very experienced, but I watched the video. The tank itself looks nice. Not sure how well the lighting will do with live plants, though it was cool how it could be moved while attached to the tank. If it were me, I think I'd want a longer pipe on the filter, but as I said, I'm a newbie, so someone else may have a better opinion. Did you have a price for it?

What grass is that in the video? Looks almost fake, it's like 1 second and then it pans upwards.
Tank looks decent tho...

It's actually not a bad price for a low-iron tank, moveable light fixture and HOB filter. If you want to grow plants, I think you'd need to look at adding in replacement bulbs as those are not specified as grow bulbs (I'm guessing it would say if they were).
I'm not sure what the "3D" of the HOB means, but you could probably fit it with appropriate media to do a good filtration job. The tank is a bit narrower, but that is a benefit if you're looking to put in on a desk. My 7g nano is actually a bit narrower than this one, and it suits the space nicely. Just have to keep it in mind when planning the aquascape.
