Favorite CO2 drop checker?
Good evening, I'm just curious if anyone had any favorite drop checkers.
I saw this little guy: http://www.amazon.com/U-P-Aqua-D-515...2+drop+checker Looks tiny and seems like I can stash it away without losing too much viewing real estate. I was going to get one of the GLA options, but those just look a bit large.

Drop checkers are drop checkers. The fewer number of rubber seals, the better. The cheapo Evilbay single-unit glass dc's will last longest. However, if you're looking for something cheap and plastic, search Amazon for "CO2 drop checker" and you'll find a similar unit for half that price.

I use the one in the OP. It's nice that it has a white background, so it's easier to tell the color of the solution.

I've got two of the Up Aqua's, the only complaint is they don't stick for more then a week.

How many drops of ph solution are you using with 4kdh solution when using up aqua's drop checker? Instructions say 5 but the solution appears to be really dark. I'm having trouble seeing changes despite increasing CO2.

I had the one in the OP and did not like it. Suction cup quality was poor and it would constantly float off. I have an all glass one off eBay now and like it better aesthetically as well.

Aesthetically, I think the ADA one is the best. The cal aqua nano is probably the smallest. The older one was better looking than the new one which I currently own. It's still pretty sweet for the price. I would imagine the any of the white plastic ones are the easiest to read.
