Dorm setup

Hey ive been keeping fish for many years but have always used like what i consider to be "real" aquariums in that it ins't an all in one kit of crap. However im moving into a dorm room in a few weeks and im lookin to set one up. I was thinkin like a 5 gal with sand, some driftwood, and some apon bulbs. Probably a betta and thats it. Ive had a betta before and he made short work of any shrimp i put in there, so i thought maybe 2 oto's if algae gets to be a prob. The only question i have is what kind of lighting should i look at. Like i know those tops usually use screw in incandecent, and i figure i could get a screw in flurecent, but just need to know which one for such an aquarium. A link would be great too if anyone knows one. Thanks

This reply is kinda late. Do a search here for "compact flourescent" or just "compact" in the lighting section. There's several good discussions on those type of bulbs.
