dry ferts and cherry shrimp
Would any of the dry ferts hurt the cherry shrimp? pressurized co2?
I use plantex csm+b, kno3,K2SO4, KH2PO4. I'm using the ei method of dosing a 20 gallon planted tank. My amounts are: 1/4 tsp KNO3, 1/8 tsp K2SO4, approx. 1/16 tsp KH2PO4, and 1/8 tsp plantex. I said approximately 1/16 tsp for the KH2PO4 because I don't fill the tsp up and push the ferts down so its less than half. I have pressurized CO2 running 8 hrs per day and light running 8 hrs per day. I've had a big cherry shrimp die off, I'm trying to figure out the cause. Could it be caused by the ferts? CO2?

The levels at which we add fertilizers in EI dosing will not harm shrimp (as long as you keep up with the 50% water changes on a weekly basis).
The more likely culprit for your shrimp die off would be CO2 (or Excel, if you are using it).

I'm at around 40 psi. I counted 65 bubbles into the bubble counter per minute.

I have significantly lowered the output of the pressurized CO2.
Also, stopped dosing Plantex+csm. I was dosing 1/8 tsp. on an EI schedule. Since I've done this I found 1 molt Thanks so much for your help guys!
