Substrate Options

I was going to go with eco-complete, since it was on sale, but guy at local petco, got the last bit of it, so now I need options.

CaribSea Midnight Black Floramax
Eco Complete Planted Black
Aquarium Plants Dot Com substrate
Flourite

Do you suggest I still use MGOPM with all? I know I need to with the Eco.

CaribSea Floramax might be worth a try if you can't get eco complete. And the price you can't beat. My Petsmart has it a lot of the time 7.50-10 bucks for a 12 pound bag. Compared to 20.00-30.00 for a bag of eco complete.

Would like to get the Floramax, but I heard it not great for bottom type fish, and I want to get bunch of cory's. Don't think it would work?

Im using CaribSea Floramax in my 10 gallon with some habrosus cories without any problems. And the plants are growing well too.
