I have green algae growing on my driftwood and my gravel and some other places. its the color green if my plants. it is not hairy or big. it looks like someone painted green on the stuff. its a kinda nice looking green. could this be blue green algae? i don't know. my otos don't eat it.

It sounds like standard green spot algae to me. Ottos normally eat brown algae (diatoms) if it is available in the tank. A little bit of green spot algae is mostly unavoidable in an environment that is good for plants, but it can be minimized by getting the balance of light and nutrients correct. I mainly keep it off my front glass, and pretty much let it grow wherever else it crops up.
