CO2 injection and Low PH

I'm using CO2 and need to bring up my PH back to 7 ish....is my only option to use PH up chemical buffers or would a 25% water change per se bring back up the PH?

How do you all maintain your PH levels? Especially, with CO2 injection.

CO2 brings pH down, that's sort of what it is. Why do you want to bring it up to 7? what makes you think it has to be at 7? Do you run your CO2 24/7? Is your tank planted enough to use the amount of CO2 you add?

No. Assuming you have a quality needle valve on your regulator inject less co2 by turning down the needle valve..

Agreed. There is nothing in this hobby that says your pH must be at 7. CO2 will naturally bring down the pH, and CO2 induced pH swings are not dangerous as well.

Rather, trying to change the pH by adding in chemical buffers will likely do more harm.
