Are ember tetras jumpers?

Planning on putting them in my new rimless tank. I learned the hard way that Microdevario are jumpers

I just want to plan ahead in case I need to have a lid made. They will be in the tank with Pygmy cories.

No - you shouldn't have any problem.

any fish can jump. i have to stand and watch my columbian tetras when they eat cause they like to fly out of the tank. ive lost 2 that turned to fish chips and managed to save one cause i stayed there. lids never hurt and you wont have to top off the tank as much by having a lid.

I have lost a good amount of embers to jumping. Mine stay in the upper third, and occasionally something spooks them and pop crispy critter
