Would this led fixture be ok

Can anybody tell me if they think this would be ok for my tank ?
It is full uk spec and will cost £60 inc shipping.
My tank is 1mx30cmx40cm
I have a single t5ho 24watt at the moment ,

Has anybody got feedback on these ??
Is 120 0.10 watt LEDs enough to grow plants or too much for the size of the tank ??

I have this fixture in a different size and its great for a low light shrimp tank. The quality of the fixture is there, but I can't comment on if its the amount of light that you're looking for.

This fixture will provide you with low light on your tank. So, it would be sufficient for some Crypts, Anubias, Java Fern, mosses and any plant that doesn't need higher lighting to thrive.

Ok so this led light output is 13 watts would I need to at least double that in watts to achieve good solid medium light ? My current t5ho bulb is about 60cm and my tank is 100cm so It is a bit duller at the ends, even though i get good growth and not many problems I do want to go down the led route in which I can cover the whole tank with even light .

I have the 36" version of this led fixture from Beamswork. 2410 lumens it says, 10000K leds with some blue leds for lunar, it's called Hi-Lumen TRI 90 in my case. I did buy it in Canada.

My tank is new, 36" X 18" X 24", I was worried it would not be enough because my tank is tall, 24".

It's there since january 5th, getting great growth overall. I am happily surprised, lighting 11,5 hours a day. Crypts, egeria densa, hygrophila polysperma, bolbitis, microsorum, limmophila sessiflora all of them are growing.

I guess it's low light.

Doubling the watts using small emitters isn't the path to more useable light at the substrate or plant leaf. Perhaps at the surface.
What you want is high wattage emitters for penetration. Three 3 watt emitters about a foot above the tank, using optics, can grow plants in a 10g tank.

You should look at Finnex fixtures if you want anything higher than low light.

I don't think finnex is readily available in the uk ,
If it was I would buy it without fail ,
I can get a tmc aqua ray from my lfs but would cost £70 each and i would need at least 2 to have good light, so maybe 2 of these beamworks may be enough and cheaper to have good medium light ? I don't know.
Or do I DIY it ? I don't mind taking the time to make one as long as it doesn't cost a lot of monies .

While they're not LEDs, have you considered using screw-in daylight CFL bulbs spaced evenly across the tank? That could be an extremely cheap route to go while you search for the perfect fixture.

Hmmm no I haven't looked into clf bulbs to be honest , how many would I need and what wattage to have good medium

How many LEDs in terms of wattage per led can I run safely with this driver ?
