Hey. I believe they don't allow fill-ups on the spot within nyc limits (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I went to this place over a year ago. I waited about 10 minutes for him to fill up. Call to make sure they're still open, lol. Otherwise I can check for you in a week or two; I need to refill mine.

Excellent. I believe they are still around because I think I called them while looking for a co2 tank (I forget if they said they didn't have any or if they were the ones wanting like, double the prices I've seen on the internet). If this is where I think it is then this is PERFECT for me, thanks .

Pacific Aquariums and Able Fire will do swaps, I think $30-50 or something like that for a 5lb.

Lodi NJ, Chief Fire Equipment - on the spot fills for $22 on a 10# tank. I normally call ahead to make sure they are not swamped.

The Airgas that I deal with fills my 10lb tank for like $34 I think. Only real option I have. They said on the phone they only did swaps, but the staff that fill the tanks don't care as long as you say you want to keep your tank.

Check out Airweld in Flushing Queens. Prices are reasonable and never had problems there.

I just confirmed that they are still around. I'll call and make sure that this place does just do refills, cause its only like 15 minutes from me.

For swaps, about $20 for 5# tank, this place is super quick. I've been going to them for years now. In Red Hook, Brooklyn. Might be a pain to get to from Manhattan since the trains aren't working at Smith-9th St yet.
