Here is my 36 Gallon planted tank, which is 8 Months old.

I am planning to rescape, what would you change to make this look better ?

Your tank looks nice. If you want to rescape, you can add a few more red plants. OR split the 3 reddish plants you have in different sections (Left, Center, Right).

You could also get some stones/driftwood occupy the dark space in the back.

Ultimately it's your tank, but I think it looks great.

When things are nice & green, I try to leave it alone. I'm always afraid of turning plants brown with too much rearranging/tinkering.

Well, you could give me all of that s. repens :P That carpet looks epic man, don't even touch it lol

Not quiet sure everything else you have, but if you want more color I would get more red plants. Fancier ludwigia species seem to always do the trick for me.

I also think you should invest in some L. 'Tornado' because I feel like it would look really cool in this tank. Maybe cause I feel like I am seeing a lot of twisting and fine leafed plants in the background.

I think more red plants would enhance the look and they need to be placed off-centre to draw the eye. If it's placed on the left you could have slope and flow from left to right, and if it's placed on the right you could effectively create a valley.

Both are very pleasing to the eye.
