TDS Question

My tap is around 200 tds while my cycling tank is 420 :<
i'm really confused @^@ is it like 2+2=4? I don't think so haha.
does aquasoil or ceramic filter give out tds?

any help is appreciated !

Do you have any rocks in that tank?

When did you take the rocks out? Was it around when you tested the TDS?

nope probably like a week before but no water change since then. is that the cause?

my other tank is the same like 330 tds. it only has a small river rock.
