Best led bang for the buck
What's the best led for a planted tank? I'm specifically looking for ideas for a planted 75 g but would be interested in any general suggestions also.

Maybe if you get some of the led flood lights off of "the bay of E" There are a few threads on here and I think one of them is tittled "chinese leds" or something like that.

for the depth of a 75g tank, i'd water you'll need at least a 20w LED flood or greater and run multiple units to cover the span of the tank. My vote would be for the RGB controllable units. they may cost $10 more but the color control will definitely come in handy for a planted tank.

buildmyled.com lights are a bit spendier, but way worth it IMO. I've heard the reps are a great help with customizing them as well.
