Perfect size tank? 12G long or other...

I'm debating getting a new tank and am leaning towards the 12 gallon long.

But i know there is also alot of other great options out there. The tank will be for shrimp and nano fish.

For anyone with a 12G long are you happy with your tank or would you rather have a bigger one?

I've always been a bigger is better type of guy. I look at any tank under 20 gallons as to be used as critter keepers, quarantine tanks, fry tank, etc etc. 75 is the perfect sized tank haha.

For tiny fish and shrimp? Either the 12gal (if you want rimless) or a 30/33long (if you aren't afraid of black trim).

Both have really similar dimensions and provide lots of swimming room for small Rasboras and tons of ground area for shrimp.

20 long is a great size also for smaller fish.

Rim less or non rim less. My current tank is stocked with CPDs and shrimp. A longer tank would be fun for a bit of aquascaping and a little more room to play with

Is there a 20/30 long that is rimless? if so who makes one?

ADA and Mr. Aqua have rimless tanks in the 20-30gal ranges. Though, not the exact dimensions of the 30/33long and 20long.

Standard 20Ls are 30x12x12 and 30/33Ls are 48x12.5ishx12.5ish.
