Good Substrate?

I wanted to bring in 4 9L bags of ADA Aquasoil and 1 bag of the ADA Powersand, but the shipping to Canada is extremely steep.

What other brands of substrate have you guys found to be successful, and what nutrients/fertilizers did you have to add to these? (With the ADA I've read you don't have to add much for fertilizers to the soil since they are very nutrient rich)

Shipping substrate will always be expensive, since it weighs so much. Greenleaf Aquarium ships to Canada, and they have a cheaper alternative to ADA Aquasoil - UP Aqua Soil, but it is currently out of stock.

I've had luck with organic soil capped with tahitian moon sand in my evolve 8. Just upgraded to a 40B with the same soil and pool filter sand cap. Looks amazing and it cost me no more than $15 for the substrate
