Let them float at the top of the tank. There the co2 and light is at its highest concentration.

well i will have co2 tommorow and i have the stock light and two other hoods shining in the tank at the moment !

also is a canister filter too much ?
found one for 50$ rated for a 30g

sorry good for up to75g and its a 4 stage 265gph !
sounds overkill to me but is it really ?

thats a estimated 26 times my water will cycle through every hour !

ok no super filter yet but i did get the cheap little fluval co2 kit !
installed in two mins only thing about it is you have to turn the knob to fill up the diffuser and if you dont really tighten it it leaks like 3 decent sized bubbles a minite i think ill let it empty and see how long it takes to fill that huge diffuser !
