Adding a second light?
I'm currently running a Finnex Ray 2 and feel like I could use a little more light. I was thinking of maybe adding a 48" FugeRay? My question though, when it comes to PAR, is it just as simple as adding the values from the Ray 2 and the values from the FugeRay and getting a "total PAR" or is there some other formula that would be involved?
Another option I was thinking about was possibly a Catalina single T5HO fixture, but I really like the look and growth under the LEDs, I just want a little more light at the substrate!

If two sources of light are close together you just add the two PAR numbers to get the total PAR. If they are not close together it is more difficult to say what the combined PAR is - if you know the PAR off the centerline, as we do with the Finnex lights, you can add the off center PAR, for the separation distance, to the center PAR, and get the total PAR.
