Plants bubbling like crazy

So today is a nice sunny day, for January anyways. So I have my front door open and it's letting direct sunlight into about 1/3 of my tank. I just happened to look over and my crypts and stems are putting out bubbles like crazy. It's just a standard 29 gal tank with two 24" t-8s normaly.

I have diy co2 dose comp 2xweek, excel daily, kno3 3/16 tspn and KH2PO4 3/32 tspn once a week.

Are my plants telling me with this direct sunlight that they want more light than just my 2 t-8s? I'm curious because I've never seen them bubble so much so fast as I do now.

Pearling? google it. Could be pearling. Im not well versed enough to explain it.

it could also be that the temperature accelerated your DIY co2 production making it more accessible to plants.

I thought pearling was just oxygen bubbles collecting on the plants. These bubbles are going straight up up from certain spots on each plant.

As for the temp. My co2 bottles are still in my shade inside my cabinet. My tank temp is the same as usual.

you maybe talkting about very small bubbles that constantly come from one or two spots on the leaf? kinda like what happens in a draught beer? yeah I have that when my temperature gets raised during the summer. I think it has something to do with pressure or chemistry equalizing rather than your plants going crazy. I do notice that my plants grow faster during this time but i attribute that again to my temperature raising.

It sounds like your plants are pearling. Probably due to the extra sunlight, though lots of things can trigger it.

It's either your plants are making lots of O2 and it's collecting or you have a damaged leaf and it's "venting" out the damaged area. Overall, if your plants are pearling, it's a good thing. Shows they are growing well.

On my 75 gallon (pressure CO2, higher light), I'll get pearling from a few plants ~4 hours into the day. By the end of the day, there are several constant streams. If it's also the day after a WC, the tank can look like an air pump is running and putting out thousands of very small bubbles. (I've had that question asked before).

That sounds more like it. Because every pearling pic I've seen in the o2 just sitting on the plant. I can see it from the stems as I trim them about every 2 weeks, but from my crypts? I haven't touched those for months. They are doing so good as almost every crypt I have has sent off multiple runners.
