Scarlet Badis
I found a pair for sale locally and I'm really excited because I hope to go get them soon but before I do, is there anything special I should know about them? Diet, parameters, behaviors?

Generally, Scarlet badis are picky eaters. They tend to eat live food only, but can sometimes be weaned onto frozen or flake foods (frozen is slightly easier to do). They should be kept in a slightly acidic ph (5-6.5ish) and at around 75-76F . You can keep a trio in a ten gallon. They really like planted aquariums in which they can hide and explore amongst the leaves.

They will eat frozen no problem, but they take a while to eat a good amount for themselves.

Most will not eat frozen food. Some will, they can be trained.
