a good new light?


i am looking for a new light for my 25 gallon fish tank 24 inches and around 100$ the one i have now is only 28 watts and isnt to good so if you know of a good one let me know

In case you haven't heard watts isn't a particularly useful measure, PAR is instead. Look in the Lighting specific subforum for more info why watts is antiquated and what PAR means.

It's not so much about watts as how much usable energy is delivered to the plants. If you look up PAR and read some stickies in the Lighting part of the forum you will find a ton of info and discussions on the subject.

Many people on TPT use Finnex LED lights with great results - if you search the forum you will find a lot of pictures and testimonials. Good light and a good company.
