Blue leg posos is big as ghost shrimp. I think it was because I wasn't feeding protein enough.

I have this, sorry it's sideways. It's the driftwood in the tank, the cardinals spend a lot of time under it upside down. The underside is literally covered 100% with cardinals of all sizes

The tank is black lava rock for substrate, has a chunk of driftwood some tubes, that's all. I have a sponge filter, and a canister. The canister has just bio media and also bags of crushed coral to keep pH high.

How about TDS? I really like those shrimp, and they seem to be one of the few I could keep by mixing my rock hard well and RO/DI water.

See now you did it! My well water is liquid rock, pH 8.2 with a TDS of 400 or so. Can't type any more, got to look around for the space for another tank

Dang, Liam, you're REALLY making me wanna set up a cardinal tank. My tap stinks, need distilled for all of my tanks, except for the endlers guppies, my water so hard.

I am local, and if the time (and price) is right, I will be interested in getting some of yours...

Rob, I've made some changes recently and am going to abandon the cardinals for the time being and just concentrate on the bee line. Let me know if you want them I'll sell or trade them to you for something too cheap to mention. I've got a couple yellow rabbits to go with if you decide you want to give them a go.
