Spec V Question

Seems like a dumb question, but which way should the pump be inserted in the Spec V? I have the tubing running up the tank side to meet the hole at the top for the outflow. But I saw a video where the tubing was running up the side facing the filter compartment which means it then crossed the compartment to attach the outflow piece. So now I'm confused and I hope this questions makes sense to someone.

Sue,sounds like you have it hooked up right.Pump outflow should be facing right side of tank.

Hose connects to outflow on pump up to the out flow to tank,"Swivel nozzle"

Confused now?
