Question Coralife Bio 29 and CO2 Injection

The Bio 29 has a wet/dry filtration system primarily used in SW tanks. I am considering this tank as I like the set up, lighting and price point but I will be making it a FW Planted with planed CO2 injection.
My question is will a trickle down wet/dry system work against the CO2 injection due to oxygenating the water more and probably dispersing the CO2. Or would I just need to up the bubble rate to get the rate needed?
Also does one have to aerate at night after CO2 turned off or would the wet/dry actually work to my advantage at that point and remove the unused CO2 during times plants are not consuming it?

Bob

Need some good advice here as I will be purchasing it or my other choice very soon possibly this weekend.

Default Bio 29 from Corallife

Their tech support told me to just flood the rear chambers above the max line and the wet/dry will jusdt be a wet sys.
Without doing that the wet/dry will filter out the CO2.
