Got a new toy!

So i have the day off, just got a new macro lens for my cellphone, AND just got some new blue velvet shrimp from Soothingshrimp! Its a good day So figured i'd try my hand at this new lens and share some pics as i experiment. Saw it online and figured i'd give it a try on my shrimp and i have to say, for what it is and what i paid i am very impressed. Now if i can just learn to keep steady! So here ya go, Some of my snowball shrimp, a couple of my RCS, one of my lighter chocolates (also from Soothing!), and of course a couple of my new blue velvets! Now keep in mind the velvets are a 1/4" at best, just to give you an idea of the scale. And of course, i cant resist showing off my little tank buddy, just like his dad lol

Yeah i suppose it does look a little dark in that picture. Thats my community tank in my living room, which has bad lighting (the room that is). Its not really that dark, but there are some tannins from the driftwood! To be honest that picture was more for the puppy Here's a little better pic! And yeah Bryce i liked that one, they sure are active little buggers! Must have been sleeping the last few days cozied up next to their heat pack! Loving the color for such young shrimp and cant wait for them to mature! Cudos again to Soothing.

I see fishes in your tank. You won't find any babies or having any shrimp population growing at all.

Yeah with two pearl gouramis, two gbrs, and two sword tails even the adults would be at risk! thats actually a fish only tank community tank in the living room, my shrimp are all in the back tanks with no fish! I actually had tried a wood shrimp in the community tank, thinking it would be ok due to its ;arger size...nope! found him on the floor one day, still alive, but missing quite a few legs. i threw him in my back tanks no acclimation thinking he was done for, and he is still alive today with all his limbs, truly a tough shrimp! That tank was only in the thread to show the puppy, no shrimps in there
