Nerite snail - white sheel/pitted -calcium?
My apple snail (nerite) has some white substance on his shell. almost like a bit of pitting. I'm guessing that it may be a calcium deficiency? Or would it be something else?
How do i help fix the little guy?

Are you running CO2? I've got the same thing happening to some of my ramshorns, only to the extreme. The whole shell is basically being eaten away by something, and I'm thinking it's because my KH had dropped to almost 0 and the pH had to be plunging well into acidic during the day. I know my snails get enough calcium because they love to dine on the shrimp food and consume the shrimp moltings...
