Algae Grower

10G High tech time for LED lighting upgrade.
I currently have a 10g high tech which has a Current Orbit power compact 40w x 2. One of the ballasts burnt out and I want to upgrade to LEDs.
I've looked at the Finnex Ray 2, Marineland Plant LED, and the Panorama Module Freshwater LED Kit. Any one have any recommendations or suggestions on what fixture to get? I'd like to have a fixture or at least a kit with no soldering. |

A 20" FugeRay light should give you high medium to high light on a standard 10 gallon tank with 2 inches of substrate in it. Unless you are planning on using a pressurized CO2 system, and doing some very good maintenance and tank setup procedures, that would be too much light to use without constant algae problems.

I'm already doing pressurized Co2 and EI dosing. I've had this set up for about 9 months and have had no algae issues at all.
