Thanks!

Some folks are using Miller's, right? From what I have been reading, it is better the CSM+B. I assume you dose the same amount but I would like to hear input from folks who have used it or know how to dose it.

Thanks!

I've been using 3-4 mL per 10 gallons as suggested as a baseline from wet. Mine is the diy tropica mix, using millers and iron.

Like Sara, I'm using the TPN clone made with millers and dosing 30ml ( 4ml/gallon ) in my 75.

Thanks for the reply! I ordered the dry from GLA and was just wondering how I should dose it. I really haven't seen much about dosing miller's. Then again, I have been busy/lazy and didn't really search on the forum for instructions... I don't think there are though..

4ml/gallon. Okay, perfect. But, what are you mixing in say, a 500ml dosing bottle?

Yep, for the Tropica clone it's 5g of Millers and 1.5g Fe chelate in 500ml H2O.

5 grams of miller and 1.5 of iron chelate. Correct me if I am wrong, Jeff. I bought my samples from him, that's why I know.

Edit: ninja'd by the man himself.

Hmmmm.... What if I don't have a scale and don't have Fe? What would the tsp be? I will order Fe now that I know I should use it in the mix now... I also have plenty of CSM+B. Could I also mix that in?

All I have is the mix and it looks to be like about a teaspoon, a little more maybe. CSM+B is around 1 1/8 tsp for five grams. Maybe you could compare it to that as they are similar?

I don't know off hand the conversion for grams to teaspoons but I'm sure there are plenty of calculators online that will do it.

The addition of the iron brings the Millers up to the same iron level as TPN. As far as adding CSMB, check out the thread I linked. Barbarossa mentions making up a trace mix using millers and CSMB.

The fertilator on APC has a grams and teaspoon converter for csmb. Try that one. Or wait and ask someone that has a scale and just millers to measure it for you.
