Which is a better pre-filter for shrimp breeding tank?
Hello;
I have an Eheim Liberty 200 for my 60 liter shrimp breeding tank which of the two is the better pre-filter for shrimp? The two choices are Fluval Edge Pre-filter and there is ATI MAX I Pre-Filter Which do you recommend? Thanks |

Obsessed? Maybe

It's up to your own personal preference, honestly. They will both do the same thing.

I use 2 of the fluval edge prefilters in my shrimp tank. One on my 2213 and one on my danner mag fractioning impeller pump. They clog fairly quickly so I just alternate which one I clean each week. That way the shrimp have a sponge to eat on but in that 2 weeks they will become very clogged. I use these prefilters simply because they are about the only option I have around me. Just make sure you clean them frequently.
