Coral in my Freshwater tank???
Looks like a bunch of little blue corals growing on the tips of my Eleocharis Japan.
I'm pretty sure it's staghorn though... Time to start googling how to treat this stuff before it takes over!

That doesn't look quite like staghorn, or any other algae I've seen either. Almost looks fungal.

try spot dosing excel or H2O2.
should kill most algae, if it is algal. and it will not kill e. belem - i tried.

I was just reading about the H202 too from DarkCobra... Here is the link if anyone needs it; http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=203684 Not sure if I will do it just yet since it's my Corydoras Hastatus tank that the plants are in.
