Anyone else broke like me but have a ton of tank projects they want to do?

I am also laid off. I lost my job just before Thanksgiving, but I wasn't happy there so in a way I'm glad I lost it. I get unemployment which lets me pay for my food, heating, electric, gas for my car and other small expenses, and my parents have been helping me pay my rent and student loans. When I was working I could pay everything by myself.

When I get a new job, I would like to save up and get a new apartment that will allow me to get a dog, then get a larger fish tank (and a saltwater tank!).
