Help with spec v scape
Hi all,
Let me know what I should add! All stock. Java moss wall still yet to grow in. Some java ferns and moss glued to driftwood. 2 platy fry. I am looking to make this my shrimp tank ... RCS Looking for some low light ideas for plant and where to plant them. I am using fluval shrimp stratum. Thanks for your opinions!!!! |

I personally would take out the rocks because the way they contrast the substrate and future flora will be harsh and unnatural. Since this is low light and a nano tank, plants like Crypt parva and Mini Bolbitis would look awesome! Good luck man!

In my Fluval Spec, I planted some Crypts since I'm sure they are low light. You might want to look into some low light crypts. I also added a Marimo Moss ball which I ended up using to cover the little hole near the bottom of the wall so any baby shrimp I have won't be sucked in. Just to give you an idea. :]

Did you remove the rocks? I would say if you added rocks add some that are darker. So they don't stand out as much as the white ones.
