Columbus- Free plants PU only
Hi I live in Columbus, North side. I have some extra plants that I dont have room for. These are mostly Green and Red Myrio, Dwarf Sag, Wisteria. But if you are willing to share some advice/experience with me I will also throw in some of what ever else I have if you would like. I have alot of amazon sword babys, crypt wenditti,3 types of vals,Rotalla indica,NL Ludwigia, DHG. And a few other common plants. Basically These are plants that are not in the best shape, but still alive, and growing for the most part. That Im giving away. There is algae and snails that will be on them. I would just like to meet someone here in town, that would like to trade some plants, fish, shrimp, equip, etc. Im also still pretty new to planted tanks and would like to compare routines, ferts, etc. Since I am going through the growing pains still, so thats where the advice would come in. PM if interested.

I am in Westerville and am not the plant expert I once was. There is an aquarium club in Columbus; http://www.columbusfishclub.org There is a meeting this Friday at Sawmill Lanes bowling alley.
That being said. I have run CO2/High light and low light tanks in Columbus water and have only tried fine leaved plants once. I've gotten crypts, vals, aponogetons, and swords to do well for me. I know that user C Campbell is also from Columbus, have seen his tanks, and he is much better than I am. Why dont you tell me what kind of substrate/tank/lighting situation you have and I will see if I can be of any help. |
