DIY Surface Skimmer?

Anyone have any plans or ideas for a quickly made surface skimmer that hooks into canister filters? The tubing on my canister filter has the option on it.

ive diy-ed a skimmer b4 i just took the "u" tube from a hob filter and wegged it into the intake tube to make it skimm the surface if that makes seance :p

LOl my internet has been acting up. For some reason I can get this website to load, but pretty much anything else is a hit or miss, but thank you everyone!
