Dimmers

I'm thinking about upgrading from PC to LED. I'm not ready to go full-on hi-tech, but probably will at some point. I do not think I'm ready to try building my own LEDs, but am instead thinking about using a dimmer.

Can I use a dimmer on any of the standard lights? Currently looking at either the planted tank version of the marineland or a trulumen pro.

Any advice on using a dimmer with a standard LED would be appreciated!

Pretty much the answer is no across the board. You need to buy a fixture that has a dimmer built in.
