cabomba light requirements

so i'm planning a new tank right now (90 g, 24" deep) and i want to fill at least a portion of it with amazon swords from another tank (about 18"tall) which will be blocking out a good chunk of my light below them. i have read that cabomba requires high light, i am going to be starting off with a 48" t5ho 54w bulb, so i think i will have enough light near the surface. if i need to i can add another after.
my question is, i want to add some cabomba in possibly behind the swords or around them. should i worry about not enough light getting to the lower branches and leaves or will the light at the higher limbs be enough to sustain the plant? if it doesn't get enough light will i lose all the leaves off the lower stem parts?

All you need is a light. Cabomba is super easy (though quite prone to shedding needles).

It is a really messy plant but is wonderful to start a tank with. It usually stays for three weeks and then is switched to another new tank or donated back to the LFS. Most time it is left as a floater since the substrate is heavily plant right from the get go.
