Plant suggestions for a tree(not moss)

What type of plants would be good to use on driftwood to create a tree? I know moss works, and originally I thought about doing a Christmas moss tree, but now Im thinking about trying some other sort of plant. Maybe anubias nana petite, although cost would be high there. What else would work?

Almost any stem plant works. You just need the patience to put it all together. I've seen an example of this though and the result is beautiful.

nana petite no doubt. windelov would be cool on a big enough "tree".

I got some nana petite from GordonRichards at last year's NEC convention. He had it from AquaFlora. It is cultured and there was a ton of it in there. I separated it into at lest thirteen or fourteen plants with three to five leaves.
It takes a little bit of work because the plant grows in circles in the container and the roots intertwine a bit, but you get a decent amount.

That deserves a thousand rewards it is so beautiful. I don't even know how it is possible. I think I know the plant, and I didn't know it grew like that.
