What does everyone think?

I have a pretty high ph of 7.6. I just turned on the CO2 now that I have the rest of my gravel and my Eheim in place.

Kh: 6
Gh: 8 or 9...test was shady...how green does it need to be :P

This seems to put me in the 4.5ppm CO2 range. Where should I be shooting and will I be able to get there safely for the fish I intend to keep and possibly bring that ph down a bit?

Follow this guide Deuce. It will help you adjust your pH to your KH and get a good level of CO2.

Generally, you want CO2 to be at least 10 ppm, preferably over 15 ppm, but less than 25 ppm. Any less than 10 ppm, and plant growth will not be very good, and any more than 25 ppm CO2 displaces enough oxygen that the fish will start having problems.

This means that if your KH stays the same, you are shooting for a range of 7.0 to 7.2 pH. If KH drops, your pH will need to be a little lower. If KH raises, your pH will need to be a little higher.

That is what I was thinking, but should the KH move based on CO2? I know that the ph will, but am not sure what to expect with the KH level.
