Lighting hanging
Hi guys, Im starting a 29g and I have a DIY 6" x 20" LED fixture for the plants that i built myself. the problem is that I dont have a place to hang it with since I rent the place and I can't drill holes on the ceiling nor the walls. Ive seen a few people doing the hanging with conduit and I really liked that idea so I was thinking of doing that but I wanted to hear what you guys had to say!
thank you very much I appreciate your time. |

I used conduit for my metal halide on my discus tank. They have the hand-held conduit benders in Lowes next to the pipes, so I just bent mine there while no one was around
![]() I like it because I can spin the light out of the way if I need to get anything out of the tank without hitting the fixture. I'll try and get a picture of the way it's set up in a little bit. |

Here's a thread where I talked about doing just what you're suggesting:
