Night time lighting?
Does anyone know what kind of "bulbs" or colored bulbs I can use in a clip on spotlight for nighttime viewing of my tanks?
I don't want the plants or fish affected, but since I have these 2 clipon desklamps, I wanted to set them up to sort of "spotlight" the tanks at night until bedtime. Is there a colored bulb I could use that won't be "light" for the plants?

"Moon lights" are the usual solution to that problem. They can be white or blue, but at a low enough intensity that they don't produce enough PAR to affect the plants.

Plants don't do much within the green spectrum.
Something like this ebay item #300557862239 would probably work
