Interesting conversation, I leave the CO2 on 24/7. I do not use a bubble counter or a ph controller on two different set up (56 & 75 gal).
Basically I use the info Diana pointed out in her post about morning CO2 levels. I have adjusted so the little phishies ver so slowly adjust a NV55 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dang phone.
Anyway I have it adjusted so that just before lights come my drop checker is about the close as you can get to yellow and still has a tad of green. As the day progresses it gets greener and greener.i leave it this way for the life of the CO2 tank. No power needed :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
