I was suggested try using miracle gro liquid fert but not sure which one would be better. Also would like to know what proportions to mix with water.

Hi xev11,
I am not aware of individuals using Miracle Grow liquid for their aquariums. Some of us that grow emersed plants may use it. What is your application?

I was thinking of dosing it very diluted into the tank with fish and all.

Hi xev11,
I wouldn't risk my fish; a lot of the commercial fertilizers for garden use contain very toxic heavy metals. For example the first one on your list - Miracle Gro Organic All Purpose contains: Arsenic - 3.43 ppm Mercury - .0054 ppm Cadmium - .838 ppm Lead - 1.80 ppm I would not risk my fish to try to save a couple $$ on plant food. I suggest using Seachem products or if you have several tanks or large tanks dosing using the EI method using the proper chemicals.
