Have you got herps? Show em!
Me first I guess,
3 African Clawed frogs nearly full adult size. in a 40b, Adding in two more soon. 1 Red tail Boa(only about 2.5 feet at the minute) I'll put up some pictures if i can find them. The plants are bit messy, i need to get in and do some scaping, but I'm just letting stuff grow first. Last edited by le0p; 10-04-2012 at 02:11 AM.. Reason: Added pics |

I used to keep/breed crested geckos but recently got out of it after loosing heart (my old veteran died at appx 13 years old).
I've kept tokays, a golden tegu, dart frogs, fan foot geckos and a few others. Now my fiancee and I have a red tail boa and a variable kingsnake. May I present Floyd ![]() ![]() And unnamed kingsnake, he's a bit off color as he's getting ready to shed

For herps I've kept
snakes: mocquards, black king, leucistic texas rats, corns, eastern hognose, ball pythons, house snakes. Turtle: Red Eared, ornate boxies Lizards: Spiny iguanas, leos, cuban anole These are the ones I can remember offhand. The corns are what began my fascination with morphs/mutations. Now I find myself looking at water snakes/amphibians. Go figure!

Thread title made me think twice before viewing anyone's pics haha.
Seriously though, glad they made a forum for this. I used to breed leopard geckos and wish I had some pics to share... |

Awesome herps everyone, I'm going to add my red tail boa up here, soon as he comes out of hiding.

I am wondering how le0p keeps his ACF in his tank without a lid because I have a glass lid on my ACF tank and I've already had escapes!

I used to breed very high end boas. Had a facility with a lot of boas in it. I was a licensed importer/exporter and I sent them all over the world. Had to stop after 911 when the government shut down shipping. It took over a year to start shipping again. Also had a fire in 02/2001 that wiped us out completely. Had over $300000 in reptiles destroyed and completely destroyed everything I owned. Everyone one of us escaped the fire, I had five kids then, seven now. Lost all of all of my reptiles, lots of one of a kind reptiles, cats, dog, kittens, lizards (lost the original blue tegus from Ron St Pierre), rabbit, everything!!!
Could have been worse though. Count my blessings everyday. Love my shrimp now though. Have a blast breeding them. |

I've got one amazing ACF escape story.. Oh night, my dog got out of bed and started sniffing madly. I couldn't get him to come back so I got up and there he was.. a little acf gone on adventure. Just as we get him back in the tank, we noticed his brother was hopping around the living room. We were lucky, they both survived and thrived but luckily we haven't problems again.
