Flex-seal.... anyone tried it?

I'm talking about the infomercial rubber adhesive spray. If it is effective has anyone ever used it in aquarium applications?

I haven't read about anyone using it. All it is is rubberized undercoating that you can get from the auto parts store for ~ $5 - $8 a can, depending on the brand.

I've used some on the bottom of my water containers. My thinking was to reinforce the thin plastic against abrasion. Not-so-much... This is not vulcanized rubber in a can, more like a type of flexible vinyl. >I am no chemist<

If you do not plan on using this as a boat hull or extending the life of your tires you may like it. It is a light duty, short term seal from what I can tell.
