In need of Japanese (JIS) fitting for my co2 reg
Any one know where I can get one? I read a while back that either azoo or another retailer sent them out with JIS fittings instead of cga ones. Any one got one laying around that wants to sell me or give me one?

where you refill your Japanese outlet co2 tank? or it is a disposable co2 tank?
if it is a disposable tank, the threads on the co2 tank is UNF standard threads, not Japanese national standard. UNF fittings is popular but an adapter for such conversion, is rare.

Trust me I'm in the same situation. I have a Co2 tank with a CGA 320 valve fitting but here in Korea they use the JIS B 8246. There is no adapter that exist. I've looked and looked and found no such adapter. You would think someone would have made one by now.
I got a awesome regulator from Bettatail and can't use it. The links below explains the fittings: http://www.uk.airliquide.com/file/ot...forco21942.pdf http://www.teamonslaught.fsnet.co.uk/co2_info.htm

Well I have found a japanese reg for about 80 bucks... It looks new... and for 11300 yen I can get a new ADA one with a JIS fitting for my 5kg tank. I paid like 3000 yen for the tank with gas... Pretty much pay for the GAS... i know its alot more expensive then state side... but It sure beats trying to buy a tank for like 350000 yen roughly 400 usd for a 5kg. So I just need to make up my mind, and convince the wife to let me get a new reg... I guess I will post my milwaukee reg on the forum later...
If any one ever needs the info on Co2 in Japan here it is: You can of course get the kits ada sells (23940 yen) but you will be paying 800 yen per cartridge... and like 1200 yen for an ADA bottle. But if you want to save money go to the japanese liquor store, the one that sells kegs and ask them to rent a GA-SU BOM-BAY... when I called with my broken japanese the store clerk said that it would be an initial fee of 5000 yen plus 3000 yen. But I wen't there like 3 months later and he didn't ask for the fee. From there if you are good at japanese try your local hardware store and try to find a CO2 Re gu lay ta... regulator... the one I went to didn't have any in stock but they had oxygen and some for welding i think argon gas or something. auctions.yahoo.co.jp is another place to look for レギュレーター or ADA stuff. Okinawa Bianco sells the ada one for 11500 yen P/N: 101-301 it looks like a paintball asa with a JIS fitting

BTW I have contacted J&R Weilding about a JIS B 8246 inlet connection and Andrew gave me a quote of 94 plus shipping just for the nut Found here http://www.gasflo.com/inl_series_jis.html
So yeah if you want to mod your American Reg... 94 bucks plus shipping and what ever fee they might charge. I just dont feel like dishing out 94 when I can get a low end reg for half that.

Kevchan,
If you are in Japan, it shouldn't be too hard to find a store that will sell you the JIS B 8246 stem and nut. I found a few companies using Google, so they are definitely out there. You just have to be willing to do some legwork.
