Extremely low light stem plant.

Is there a stem plant that is vey very low lght tolerant. Wisteria and water sprite failed. Crypts and amazon swords grow well too.

Any suggestions?

I suppose you could try Hygrophila polysperma though I'm not sure why Water Sprite and Wisteria did not work for you, especially if your aquarium can grow Amazon Swords and Cryptocoryne species...

Yeah I would say hygrophylia p. as well that stuff grows in my 10g with a 13w cfl in a crapy fixture. I do nothing to this tank everything I toss in there dies if no one takes it.

Rotala Rotundifolia, Bacopa caroliniana, Bocapa monnieri, Waterwheel Plant/Aldrovanda vesiculosa, Brazilian Pennywort/Hydrocotyle leucocephala, Water Pennywort/Hydrocotyle ranunculoides, Guppy Grass/Najas guadalupensis,Ludwigia repens, Elodea canadensis.

Anubias species, Java Ferns are undemanding but they're not stem plants

Definitely rotala varieties! It grows like hell in my super low light tank, faster than even hornwort. Ludwigia... not so much. I'd call it a low-medium light plant and it can be fussy about other factors given only low light. Also, though not a stem and not what you asked, vallisnaria.

I dont know whats wrong. Wisteria and water sprite just failed. Although my crypt aponogetifolias kept on thriving same too with swords. Bacopa was tried but melted. Sunset hygro, it thrived but turns green and grows a bit slowly.

how many hrs u turn on the light?
my grandmom's tank 60cm x 30 x 40 only 13watt light for 12hrs a day
Java fern , najas grass , rotala Wisteria growing well

right now im gonna upgrade my light to 2wpg and i'll try some riccia as carpet.
