yes, it is a stunted discus. They are all the same fish, just different quality. The first is how they are SUPPOSED to look. The second is more typical hobby grade. The third is horrendously stunted. If you look at the eye size, it is the same in all three pictures.

Not to mentioned you can tell how happy they are by their stress bars.

1st. one no visible stress bars
2nd. one faintly visible stress bars
3rd. one severely stessed

I should've explained it in the first post itself.
To tell you- I clicked the images at a LFS. And all of them were in the same tank.
Discus is the most beautiful fish in the hobby, but maintaining it would be the toughest job in the hobby.
