DIY CO2 Diffuser
Hello!
I was wondering if the bell method for diffusing diy co2 would and was also wondering how efficient it is. I cant find any glass diffusers and most probably will not buy a powerhead or filter for the diffusing. Any other method for diffusing would be appreciated as i want to have HC and dwarf hairgrass carpets. Thanks for reading this. |

Here is a link to the diffuser I use , it’s ok some people might not like the noise. instead of running the tube in directly I put an air stone on the end of the tube and placed that inside the Elite it makes smaller bubbles which are then passed through the impeller and chewed up further

I use a wooden chopstick, just break off the tip piece & stick it in the the tubing, then put it by the intake of the filter.
Oh & a lot of people complain about a white fuzz that starts to get at the end of the chopstick or diy diffuser with diy c02...... I used to have that problem But then What I did was run the airline tubing to a hard plastic tubing, then into the chopstick..now No problems of buildup what so ever, been going off the same batch of c02 for 1 1/2 months now |

A gas separator/bubble counter will eliminate
the white slime from getting into the tank. Some ideas for you guys. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...ator&FORM=AWIR |
