Very nice! You can always do a shrimp only tank, fun to watch and cleaner. That what I did on my 3 gal.

I was thinking of shrimp maybe, but worried they might get out as the lid doesn't really seal to the top at all. What do you think? I have some diamond tetras in the big tank and could move 2 or 3 up here if I could catch them. We already have one shrimp tank downstairs so I could probably stock from there as well with the rate they are breeding!

I thing that tank would be great for shrimps.
My shrimp tank is without lid and all my shrimps are inside,so i think you can try that.

or go with a single exorbitantly priced male Betta, see how many years you can keep him alive in his new condo.

(just be sure to get one that you can keep looking at for years and never get tired of the coloration)

How many liters is your tank?
Maybe you can have some pseudomugil gertrudae or CPDs

It's 15 litres and funnily enough, I had 4 CPDs in it before the rescape and they all died.

Not sure what I did wrong as the water parameters all checked out ok. Any suggestions on them? I really think they are beautiful and would love to try again. Not quite sure what the other one is...have to google I think!

But i think your tank is small for them.I have 7 of them in a 40lt tank and and they are lovely!

Those are gorgeous! I think I have seen them in my LFS before. But yeah, tank is too small. Really think I might have to get a bit more serious about my water parameters and maybe try a few crystal or bee shrimp. We have cherries and amanos so it would be fun to try a new breed! :

I think some shrimps is a real good idea for this tank!
I have also red cherries in one of my tanks and i would like to have some crs too but here in Greece crs are very expensive

They aren't cheap here in England either or I would have bought them already!

I want to make sure my water is right before I order some. Will definitely keep you posted on how it goes. If they have babies I'll exchange some with you for some of your beautiful Greek sunshine!!

Exactly,i am poor but i dont care! ahahahahahaha

The first thing you have to do,is to make sure that your water is right for them.
The most of the people here who have crs is the temperature of the tank during
summer time,but i think you will not have this problem in England.
I will exchange as much sun as you wish,its the only thing we have left here!

You'd have to be very careful you don't end up making soup of them!!!
