Getting glass cut in the city?
Does anyone have a place they use for getting glass cut? It turns out that the Microdevario love jumping
I have a contact out to a place in Yonkers - but looking for other options. It is going to be a little more complicated then just a rectangle - as there have to be notches for the Lily pipes and the part of my driftwood that extends out of the tank. |

Is there a Lowes near you? I know there's one in Brooklyn that has a person who cuts glass in eighter once a week or 2 days, on Ave.U. At least they did. What about any glazier/glass window installers?

Won't the plexi warp, Gordon? That was the problem I always had with it for amphibian tanks. It might serve as a good interim solution though.
Jellie - there are a couple of Lowe's on the other side of the river in NJ and NY - but nothing super close. I am waiting to hear back from a glass and mirror place in Yonkers. |

If anyone knows of anyone working with acrylic - that would also work.

World class aquarium in Brooklyn will cut glass whatever specs you want, but you should call to make sure. They cut something for me before for $20.

Do they bevel glass edges too?
