new to planted tanks
Bought some plants 2day & was wondering if I should keep the weight on them thats holding them all 2gether or should I take the weight off & plant each stem individually in the substrate???

I remove the weight, put the stems in a bowl of old tank water to rinse off dead leaves and plant stems one or two at a time and try to plant about as far apart as the width of the leaves so the bottom leaves get more light. I am too fumble fingered to do this by hand and must use tweezers or forceps to get the stems to stay down without breaking the bottoms of the plants.
